In a recent article in Tricycle, Steve Krieger says, “You cultivate rich, fertile, living ground for insight and compassion, for deep human feeling to continually sprout and take seed. It’s a natural process. You can’t force it. You simply set the right conditions in motion and then get out of the way.”
I really like that advice: “set the right conditions in motion and then get out of the way.” Make a commitment to the core practices that you know give you clarity, energy, persistence, and then just get out of the way. Your own creative spirit will rise up more easily and more purposefully as a result of your practices.
But sometimes, we need a little nudge to establish new practices. Remember, LifeArt Studio is one nudge you can call upon! Here, we are all about creating the life structures and habits of mind that will support our deepest work in this world.
If you’re interested in creating those conditions, too, don’t hesitate to take advantage of an exploratory session with me. It’s a no-cost, no-obligation conversation that just might be the nudge you need to “set the right conditions in motion.” Contact me here.
